Silver Strikers football club says no player is bigger than the club and will not go by the demands of any player who want things which are not part of his contract.
The central bankers general secretary Lawrence Yobe made the remarks responding to reports that the club will buy furniture and increase salary for striker Khuda Muyaba as one way of edging him not to terminate his contract with the area 47 based side.
A few weeks ago Khuda Muyawa wrote on his Facebook page that he is considering of terminating his contract after he was left out of the Malawi national football team squad ahead of the COSAFA tournament a decision he feels was facilitated by Lovemore Fazili who is coach for Silver Strikers and assistant coach for the flames.
“As the executive committee of Silver Strikers I can assure that that every thing between all our players including Khuda Muyaba is in place and that people should bring confusion with what other people are writing on social media that we are to go by the strikers demands.
” Khuda Muyaba is going no where as he has a contract with the club until 2021and as Silver Strikers we are a professional club and respect what is in our contracts with the players and we fulfill that “, Yobe said.
