Khuda Muyaba scored in the second half to denied Be Forward Wanderers maximum points in a TNM super league match at the Kamuzu stadium.

Wanderers utilized home ground advantage as they dominated play and created a lot of chances in the first half.

In the 20th minute Babatude Adepoju scored but his goal was ruled for an offside. A minute before the break Francisco Madinga put the nomads in the lead after being set by Babatunde.

In the second half the central bankers leveled their game with striker Khuda Muyaba troubling the Lali Lubani defense.

In the minute Muyaba equalized for the 2019 Airtel top 8 champions from a Free kick after he was brought down outside the penalty box.

Both sides made changes but no more goals came for the two sides to share the spoils.
Speaking after the match Wanderers coach Bob Mpinganjira said they should have put the game to bed in the first half.

“Very bad that we have managed only a point this afternoon. We played better in the first half and created a lot of chances which we didn’t utilize. In the end we have been punished as we chase for the championship”, he said.

His opposite number, coach for Silver Abasi Makawa said
” A point from the league leaders is not all that bad. With how we played, the players are gaining confidence in themselves. In the coming games we will do much better”.

Wanderers is still on the summit of the super league with 40 points from 18 games. The central bankers are on 5th place from 19 games with 33 points.
