Ntopwa football club defender George Nyirenda has asked the current generation of players to have vision whenever they are playing football and should work hard towards fulfilling the set vision.
According to the former Dwanga United defender who also played for Big Bullets before joining a Namibian premier league side Tigers football club says it feels sad seeing a lot of players struggling once they retire from playing football which in most cases is because they had no vision of what to do after they retire when they were playing the sport.
“The current generation of players is lucky as they are playing the sport at a time when they are receiving good sums of money from playing football. All I can ask them is to set a vision for themselves on what they want to achieve from the sport that will sustain their lives once they retire from active football. They can do that by investing the money in different businesses that will generate money for them,” he said.
