Premier soccer league South Africa Premier Soccer League (PSL)(PSL) side Orlando Pirates football club has signed Malawi national football team striker Gabadinho Mhango from Bidvest Wits football club.
The 26 years old striker has signed a three years contract with the buccaneers. Earlier this month he denied a move toKaizer Chiefs football club.
“Orlando Pirates football club would like to thank Wits management for the professional manner that these negotiations were conducted “, an announcement on the clubs website reads.
Mhango helped the Clever boys win the league in the 2015-16 season but only made 13 appearances for the team last season joined the PSL in 2013 when he signed for Bloemfontein Celtic from Nyasa Big Bullets before later joining Golden Arrows football club.
Gabadinho Mhango follows in the footsteps of other Malawian Enerst Mtawali, Chiukepo Msowoya and Joseph Kamwendo who also played for Pirates and he is the clubs eighth signing this off season following the arrival of French goalkeeper Joris Delle, Kabelo Dlamini, Bongani Sam, Fortune Makaringe , Tebongo Tlolane , Siphesihle Ndlovu and Tshegofatso Mabasa.
