The mother of Nyasa Big Bullets and Malawi national football team defender Precious Sambani has apologized to the club for the decision made by the player last week of seeking to cut his stay short at the 2019 TNM super league champions.
Last week the former Namiwawa football team player who has 18 months to his contract with Bullets wrote a letter to the people’s team sighting among other reasons that he is not happy with how the club handled his opportunity to play for a Ukrainian side in Europe.
In an interview, Mrs Sambani has revealed they will have to apologize to the club over what their child did as they were not consulted as parents to help him on how to handle the situation.
“We were told by his club that an opportunity to play in Europe was available but we left everything to them to see how the deal will be done and the decision made by Precious decided to terminate his contract with the club is not the right one. As parents we are considering to apologize to the club on behalf of him as he made a wrong decision which he didn’t even consult us as his parents,” she said.
Sambani joined Nyasa Big Bullets in 2018 after playing for a year on loan at Be Forward Wanderers from his parent club Namiwawa fc and was named Bullets best defender of the season in 2019.
