Yanga Sports Club has been struggling this season 2019/20 in Vodacom Premier League due to various factors, including poor forms of their newly signed players, the change of managers as well as financial difficulties.
As the league approach an end, Yanga Sports Club through their spokesman, Mr Antonio Nugas says, they are on the verge of extending the contract with their defensive midfield, Papy Tshishimbi.
Also, the number one goalkeeper Metacha Mnata explains why he is on top of his game lately. “Every day I wish and want to be better than yesterday, I’m working on doing great in every opportunity I get in my team. I am a believer of hard work as well as listening to the coach and implement all that he says to me. I’ve been through various clubs like Azam Football Club, Tanzania Prison and Mbao Football Club, challenges are the same for all goalkeepers, and to win them is to work really hard every day”.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper number three of Yanga Sports Club says, “My contract with Yanga Sports Club ends, unfortunately, they did not raise any concerns of me remaining at the club. Currently, I’m not looking to sign with any Tanzanian club, my plan is to go abroad for now.”
