Following the 1-1 draw against Ruvu Shooting Football Club on June 14th, 2020 Simba Sports Club management admits that they were surprised by their opponent’s performance at large.
Simba Sports Club accepted to share a point with Ruvu Shooting Football Club in their first Vodacom Premier League fixture after the Corona break and admits it was not the result they have been looking for.
Simba Sports Club’s only goal was scored by Shiza Ramadhani Kichuya in the 11th minute and it was equalized during the 39th minute of the first half by Fully Maganga. The match’s results remained that way after a full-time whistle.
“It is the result that we never wanted, it’s disappointing and surprising considering the kind of team Simba Sports Club is, but we accept it and move on to the next game.
Ruvu Shooting Football Club has been brilliant all over the game, they played with determination and discipline from the first minute to the end they deserve this results,” says Simba Sports Club spokesman, Haji Sunday Manara.
