Silver Strikers football club has rejected offers from South American teams for Ghanaian striker Michael Tetteh and Malawian midfielder Duncan Nyoni.
Tetteh was wanted by a Paraguay top flight league Sol de America while Nyoni was wanted by undisclosed team from Barbados which is an island country in the Caribbean sea.
Silver Strikers general secretary Lawrence Yobe said the facilitator of the deal , who is a South African agent Lucas Adams wanted to pay k7.5 million for each player but the central bankers wanted k15 million for each and that the deal has come at a wrong time as the transfer will disturb their season which has already began.
In his response Lucas Adams said the teams were looking for outright transfers and would go straight to their respective clubs had the deals materialize but was disappointed with the deals been blocked and ruled out possibilities of coming back with improved offers.
“We still have issues with the amount of money the club want so I will not go ahead with the deals “, he said.
