Capital city giants Silver Strikers football club has completed the move for Blue Eagles striker Foster Bitoni at an undisclosed fee.
Bitoni who is seen as the right replacement for Khuda Muyaba, who was the central bankers hitman, won the golden boot award in 2019. He has signed a three years contract and was unveiled as the team’s first big name signing this transfer window. He will be wearing jersey number 10 left by Muyaba.
Speaking after the move, Bitoni admitted it’s a challenge playing for Silver Strikers but he will work hard to prove his worth.
“It is a challenge playing for Silver Strikers but I am taking the challenge. I am going to play my kind of football at area 47,” Bitoni said.
In a related development, Blue Eagles football club has landed the service of former Dwangwa United player Chifuniro Mpinganjira and has signed a two years contract.
The police headquarters side is looking to strengthen it’s side ahead of the fourth coming 2020 season having lost Schumacher Kuwali, Gregory Nachipo and Foster Bitoni who were part of the team last year.
Dwangwa United was relegated from the country’s elite league last year.
