Simba guarantees three points this Thursday

Simba SC has failed to claim 3 points in their last two matches of the TPL. The loss against Kagera Sugar and draw against Azam FC makes their title race tougher since they now need eight points. Their next fixture is against Mtibwa Sugar on Thursday.

Simba SC head coach Patrick Aussems said they tried everything but they failed to score and their focus now is on Mtibwa Sugar.

“I knew we were up against tough team (Azam FC) I prepared my side but that’s the results”.

He further explained that Azam FC planned to get just one point and that’s why they played a defensive game to stop Simba from scoring.

“You saw the way they defended, they blocked all chances we had to score… but we got one point… we are preparing ourselves for our next matches”

Aussems said they look forward to the game against Mtibwa Sugar and intend to score three points in that match and others.

Simba SC remains with five matches in the league after 33 games. Simba SC lead the league table with 82 points, followed by Yanga SC with 80 points, and Azam FC in third place with 60 points.
