Nyasa Big Bullet’s won the first bragging rights of the Blantyre derby this year after defeating arch- rivals Be Forward Wanderers to retain the ECO Bank Charity Shield for the third successive time.
In a time played at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre yesterday, Bullet’s top striker Chiukepo Msowoya was the hero of the day with a stunning second half finish. It was the game of open chances as goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa of Wanderars and Bullet’s Rabson Chiyenda were tested on several occasions.
Both teams were brilliant in attach but lacked the cutting – edge as play swung From end to end. Bullet’s came with different ideas in the second half as they bombarded Wanderers at will but Chipuwa stood form to deny Msowoya on two occasions.
