Ntopwa Football Club has announced the signing of a Nigerian striker Friday Oriafo Osagie who has signed a one year contract with the club.
Speaking after signing the contract, Osagie who had unsuccessful trials at Be Forward Wanderers Football Club said he want to make an impact at the newly promoted team into the TNM Super League.
“When I went to Be Forward Wanderers Football Club they told me I can’t work with them so I decided to join Ntopwa Football Club to prove to them that I am equally good and I am so excited to join the club.
“Every player would want to be on the winning side and my aim to help the team play in the Airtel Top 8”, said Osagie.
In his remarks Ntopwa Football Club Technical Director Isaac Jomo Osman described Osagie as the best.
“We are pleased to announce that Ntopwa Football Club has signed Friday Oriafo Osagie on a one year deal and after we were impressed with his services.
“He is a good player and we look forward to work with him and his signing has come at a time when the first game we played for the 2019 TNM Super League against MZUNI Football Club showed to us that we lacked fire power in front of goals “, Osman said.
Last weekend after Ntopwa Football Club played it’s first game in the elite league, coach Leo Mpulula said the team is playing good football and is able to defend but lack of sharp strikers coasted them the game and this weekend Ntopwa Football Club will be in the Central region to play against Blue Eagles Football Club and Masters Security Football Club in their first away fixtures in the TNM Super League.
