Nyasa Big Bullets football club defeated TN Stars football club 2-0. They were crowned the 2019 TNM super league champions at the Kamuzu Stadium on Sunday.
Bullets made no mistake in the match and took the lead in the 7th minute through Peter Banda before Hassan Kajoke made it 2 just before the break.
In the second half, the people’s team created a lot of chances but TN Stars goalkeeper brilliance saved the team from further embarrassment. Bullets won the match with 2 goals and were crowned champions for the 15th time having finished the season with 70 points.
At the Civo Stadium, a win for Be Forward Wanderers football club was not enough for them to win the league despite winning 3-0 against already relegated Mlatho Mponela.
Vincent Nyangulu scored a brace within the first 2 minutes of the first half before Peter Cholopi made it three in the 19th minute for the 2018 FISD Cup champions.
Wanderers has finished the season on second position with 69 points.
