Bakari Mwamnyeto is among the young Tanzanian defenders who made both elite clubs battle for his signature as they look to improve their squads in all positions possible.
Simba Sports Club is looking to add Mwamnyeto into their defence as the Central defender alongside Pascal Wawa, Erasto Nyoni, Yusuph Mlipili and Kennedy Juma.
Yanga Sports Club want his signature as well, so they can have a solid central defender choice including senior defender Kelvin Yondani, and Lamine Moro.
Bakari Mwamnyeto manager, Mussa Kassa says he received many offers from various clubs including Simba Sports Club and Yanga Sports Club.
“Simba Sports Club and Yanga Sports Club are both planning to sign Mwamnyeto from Coastal Union, but I spoke to them to contact Coastal Union because Mwamnyeto is a Coastal Union player.”
