Tanzania’s Parliament will end its business with a possible address from the President of Tanzania John Magufuli, and get dissolved on June 19.

The speaker of parliament Mr Job Ndugai announced yesterday May 17 in the parliamentary session, saying that this year’s budget will be tabled on June 11, as well as the other East African countries.

“There are several things going on, for instance Burundi has an election to deal with, Uganda’s Parliament is set to resume work on June 4, Kenya’s Parliament too will not resume until June,” he said.

Speaking on the same, Mr Ndugai said that the date was set after member states’ finance ministers met and agreed on June 11. All the five countries suggested for that particular date, except Burundi that will not read their budget due to the current campaigns for the upcoming elections.
