Trouble seems not to end for Liverpool football club which had a good start to the 2019/20 season as they lost 2-0 to Chelsea on Tuesday to exit the FA cup in one of the red’s miserable trips to Stamford Bridge.
Coming from a 3-0 loss in the hands of Watford in the English Premier League on Sunday, Liverpool expected a comeback but that was not the case as Chelsea led by coach Frank Lampard had other thoughts to hand the reds their third successive loss in all competitions this year having lost to Atletico Madrid in the EUFA champions league before losing to Watford in the EPL.

Just after the restart of the second half, the Maggipies scored the third goal through V.Lazaro before the home side pulled a spectacular come back with two goals from M.Philips and K.Zohore but it was too little too late as the damage had already been done.
At the Madjeski stadium, Sheffield United defeated Reading by 2 goals to 1 to processed to the next round of the cup. D.McGoldrick scored in the 2nd minute of the match for the visitors before G.Puskas equalised before the break for Reading. In the second half, both sides didn’t give each other chances for a goal until extra time when B.Sharp scored the decider for Sheffield United to win the match.
On Monday night, Arsenal were 2-0 winners over Portsmouth thanks to goals from Papastathopoulos and E.Nketiah to book themselves a place in the next round of the FA cup this season.
