2015 – “Steve Bernard Miles Chimombo, was born on the 4th of September 1945 and died on the 11th of December 2015, was a Malawian writer, poet, editor and teacher. He was born in Zomba Blantyre. The only Malawian writer and poet that didn’t go into exile during the Kamuzu’s rule. There are rumours that Chimombo was feeding the government names of those who wrote against it.
