South African National First Division (NFD) side TS Sporting football club has knocked on Nyasa Big Bullets football club door seeking for the services of the 2019 TNM super league player of the season Peter Banda.
In communication sent to Bullets signed by TS Sporting Chairperson S.J. Thobela, the South African club has asked the 2019 TNM super league champions to let Banda join the Nelspruit based club and has been offered an outright contract.
According to Peter Banda’s agent, Paul Kamanga, Bullets are reluctant to let the former Griffin Young Stars player leave the club as he has been pushing for negotiations with the people’s team but they have not shown interest into the matter.
Peter Banda won the prestigious award of 2019 TNM super league player of season in his debut season in the elite league and was loaned to Bullets from his club Griffin Young Stars. His top class performance earned him call ups to the Malawi national football team and also made Bullets to buy the player from his parent club in March 2020 and gave him a three years contract which runs until 2023.
In January this year, TS Sporting also signed on and off Malawi national football team striker Chawanangwa Kaonga from Costa dol Sol of Mozambique and was given a three years contract.
