Be forward wanderers football club Lilongwe based supporters have called for striker Peter Wadabwa and defender Eric Atsigah to visit them this coming weekend as they continue with their generous gesture of supporting the players during the Covid-19 pandemic time.
Wadabwa returned to the Lali Lubani side early this year after spending a season with Desportive de Maputo in Mozambique while the Ghanaian international Eric Atsigah who joined the Nomads in 2019 from Masters Security football club will visit the nomads faithful based in Chinsapo zone in the capital city.
According to chairman of the Nomads based Lilongwe supporters Rodrick Chitedze, they will not stop helping the players until the situation normalises and different zones are showing interest to be part of the initiative.
“Since the return of Wadabwa from Mozambique he has not featured for the club due to Covid-19 but we considered to show him the kind of support we have given to the other players and this time the fans have promised to continue supporting the players until everything is normal,” he said.
Be forward Wanderers is the only club among the 16 teams that play in the elite league whose supporters are helping the players during the Covid-19 pandemic time.
