Ugandan Army protects human rights

The Ugandan Army has established a squad of the military that will be going around the streets at night to ensure control of people walking at night is taking place without violating human rights.

This action begins following complaints from Ugandan citizens that the police and the militia apply extra force through beating them anyhow, hence termed as harassment.

Uganda’s military will step in to the streets to manage police actions to harass citizens. The Human Rights Advocate calls upon the Ugandan government to ensure its soldiers avoid using force to implement the measure to avoid the coronavirus.
