Vodacom Premier League is set to return soon following the statement from the Hon President Magufuli last weekend, as he mentioned his thoughts about allowing the Sports activities all over the country.
President Magufuli says, according to the recent updates on the status of Coronavirus cases seem to be slowing down unlike the expectation.
After the so said statement from President Magufuli, Simba Sports Club spokesman responded to the news in a good way.
“For us it’s an honor to be able to proceed with the remaining fixture, and we are going to win our title for the third time in a row. We are also considering to give this year’s trophy to Mr President, Hon Magufuli as a gift to him for allowing the league to resume,” said Haji Manara.
Yanga Sports Club spokesman Antonio Nugas also says it is a good thing for fans and the clubs as well. They are going to make sure they win all of the fixtures and see how the league ends from there.
“As a club this is great news for us, because we still have many matches yet to play, and we are hoping to get great results at the end of the season. We want to win all of our games and see how the table looks like for us.”
Tanzania Football Federation is yet to announce when the league will return regardless of the statement from President Magufuli.
