In the other news after allowing the fans to fill in the grounds and support their clubs, the government also allowed the Vodacom Premier League to resume to its best format.

Speaking to the Press today, May 31, 2020, Doctor Hassan Abbas says the government decided to allow the normal routine of home and away matches after hearing opinions from Ministry of Health and other football pundits.

“The government also allows the rest of the season to be conducted in its normal routine of home and away fixtures as it was before the Coronavirus pandemic.

“Most importantly is to follow the advice and precautions measure given by the Ministry of Health, we all know the situation is now under control yet we have to be careful with it.”

Now that the League is set to return soon on June 13, 2020, the only thing left hanging is the timetable for the rest of the season.
