Here are some updates from various sources about players, teams, transfers, and rumours, concerning different cases associated with Vodacom Premier League.
As the Vodacom Premier League is suspended for almost two months now, and Tanzania Football Federation has yet to announce it’s official return date. Kinondoni Municipal Council Football Club senior goalkeeper Juma Kaseja, says even if the league will return soon, some players will not be in their best form due to lack of personal training sessions.
Also, Ruvu Shootings Football Club spokesman, Masau Bwire, mentioned former Simba Sports Club striker, Emmanuel Okwi and Yanga Sports Club Midfielder Haruna Niyonzima as the best foreign players ever to play in Vodacom Premier League.
“To Me, Okwi and Niyonzima are the best foreign players who came here and brought something different in the Vodacom Premier League over seasons, the rest are trying.”
Elsewhere Ibrahim Ajib’s agent says his client is in the league and there is no other player who can stop him from having a spot in his club.
“Considering the form he is in, he is not the player to play for Azam Football Club or Yanga Sports Club, unfortunately, he has some issues with his family that’s why he is struggling to get into Simba Sports Club first eleven.”
Ibrahim Ajib returned to his former Simba Sports Club after spending two years at their league rivals Yanga Sports Club, where he had a great season.
