Be Forward Wanderers football club will this season return to their traditional blue and white colours which they stopped using five years ago after securing sponsorship from a Japanese second hand car seller Be Forward.
Since 2015, the nomads have been using the orange and black colours which are part of their sponsors branding and supporters had been asking for the return of the club’s tradional blue and white colours.
Nomads general secretary Victor Maunde said the return of the traditional colours has been done with the sponsors approval and it should bring excitement to the team’s supporters.
“Wanderers is well known with the colours of blue and white but the team has instead been using the orange and black colours which represent our sponsors Be Forward. This coming season, with the sponsors blessings we have been given a go ahead to use the blue and white colours Jersey when playing at home and use the orange and black colours when playing away from home. This has brought excitement to everyone at the club including the supporters,” said Maunde.
The GS also said they have already received all the necessary equipments to use in the 2020 season including training kits, golf shirts, track suits and jerseys that the Lali Lubani side will put on white colour jerseys when playing in cup competitions such as Airtel top 8 and FISD challenge cup this year.
