Simba Sports Club head coach Sven Vanderbroeck says mathematically they need only twelve points which is equal to four matches for them to be crowned Champions. Simba Sports Club is the defending champions of the Vodacom Premier League and they want to secure the title for three seasons consecutively.
Simba Sports Club has 71 points at the top of the league they are looking to reach 83 points for them to be champions, and because no other club in the division can be able to reach those points this season.
Sven Vanderbroeck says if they win the title early he will rotate his squad for the rest of the season and give chance to those who had few playing time and also concentrate on the Azam Sports Federation Cup.
“Our target is to get 12 points earlier and be champions for the third time and concentrate in the remaining tournament of Azam Sports Federation Cup. If we get the points earlier we are going to squad rotate and give chance to other players in the Vodacom Premier League.”
Sven Vanderbroeck believes that the players will return in good shape because all of them have been working on special programs assigned to them.
“I believe they will return in good shape although we are going to work hard as a group and get them in shape and see the rest of the season with the same goal we started the season with.”
