WHO employees in Congo accused of sexual harassment

The World Health Organization (WHO) has ordered an investigation to be done following the recent claims of sexual harassment and abuse from the women in Congo during it’s aid in the ebola outbreak.

WHO and its employees were accused by 50 women of inappropriate conduct and sexual harassment during their time in Congo. The women were allegedly drugged and forced to have sexual relations with the personnel from the organization. 2 of the women got pregnant.

These acts are said to happen in the year 2018 and March this year. Thomson Reuters said it has conducted an intensive investigation on the matter all year.

WHO said that anyone who will be found guilty will face justice and be immediately terminated.
