Yanga Sports Club becomes the second club to qualify into the semi-finals of Azam Sports Federation Cup after a comeback win of 2-1 against Kagera Sugar.
Kagera Sugar scored the first goal in the first half through their wide midfielder Awesu Awesu, Yanga Sports Club had to wait until second half to equalize through David Molinga free header and Deus Kaseke penalty goal.
The win today, June 30th, 2020 is the revenge to Kagera Sugar as they beat Yanga Sports Club once in the Vodacom Premier League.
In pre-march conference Yanga Sports Club head coach says they are looking for a win and revenge as well.
“They beat us in the Vodacom Premier League match at the beginning of the season, but that’s not FA cup, players are ready I believe they will use this chance to revenge and defend their worth and respect.”
Yanga Sports Club are in the semi-finals and are waiting for the winner between Azam Football Club and Simba Sports Club fixture to be played on July 1st, 2020.
