Yanga Sports Club senior Center defender Kelvin Yondani shares his options about the kind of players his club should sign so they can be better next season.
Some of the players who are linked with the move to join Yanga Sports Club next season are Mussa Mohammed from Nkana Football Club, Heritier Makambo from Horoya AC, Tuisila Kisinda from AS Vita Club, Michael Sarpong from Rayon Sports Club, Yassin Mustapha from Polisi Tanzania, Bakari Mwamnyeto from Coastal Union and Abdulhalim Humud from Mtibwa Sugar.
Kelvin Yondani says their attacking zone should be number one priority, and if they can bring in a top striker, who can score more goals unlike now.
“Our squad is not so bad, we need to sharpen our striking force, I hope they will look to improve our attacking Midfielders. I strongly believe that we will have a strong squad next season.”
“That’s the place we really need to improve by signing top players and not signing many players who can not play to the level we would love to play.”
Yanga Sports Club attacking players this season are David Molinga, Yikpe Gislaim, Ditram Nchimbi and Tariq Seif.
Yanga Sports Club players have managed to score 31 goals collectively in the Vodacom Premier League. While their strikers scored 13 goals out of 31 goals this season. David Molinga is the club’s leading goal scorer with 8 goals, Yikpe 1 goal, Nchimbi 2 goals and Tariq Seif 2 goals.
