Yasin join Tigers

Mighty Tigers football club has announced the appointment of Rodgers Yasin as their new coach for the 2020 season barely a few weeks after seasonal coach Gerald Phiri snr resigned as coach for the club.

Yasin returns to the top flight league where he coached Nyasa Big Bullets in 2017 and was shown the exit in 2018. He already guided the club to winning the TNM super league.
Tigers technical director Robin Alufandika has confirmed the coming of Yasin who has promised to turn around the fortune of the club.
“Yasin has accepted the challenge to be our head coach and considering the fact that he has been with super league teams in the past we feel he will guide the boys well in the fourth coming season.
He has accepted to join the club despite our financial status which is a sign to us that he has passion for the sport and we expect him to accomplish the targets we have given him,” said Alufandika.

Tigers football club is struggling financially and has failed to keep quality players and coaches due to failure to meet their demands and Alufandika has pleaded with well wishers to support the club.
“The club is struggling financially and we are asking well wishers to come and help the club with anything they have and we will greatly appreciate,” he said.

Rodgers Yasin has a CAF license and previous coached Nyasa United in the Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) league.
