Zomba police arrests 3 notorious criminals, recovers property worth 3 Million Kwacha

Police in Zomba are keeping in custody three suspects identified as Don Nazombe (24), Ovious Zuga (28) and George Alubi (20) for the offense of house breaking.

The trio is allegedly to have committed series of house breaking in the district and went away with assorted items between the months of April and May during day time.

Following the public outcry, police intensified investigations which led to the arrests of the suspects.

The three suspects will appeal before court soon to answer the offense of house breaking which contravenes Section 309 of the Penal Code.

Meanwhile, the police have recovered some of the stolen items worthy about 3 million kwacha including 2 LG plasma screens, home theater, Zuku decoder and laptop.

Police in Zomba are therefore asking complainants who lodged the case of house breaking at the station to come and identify their properties with the CID office.
